FAQs
Do you train people in person?
I have limited availability for in-person coaching, but I do accept training clients on a case-by-case basis. The monthly “Bells & Whistles” plan includes one training session per month, either in-person or over FaceTime/Zoom.
What types of clients do you work with?
I work with both lifestyle clients and competitors. Most of my clients are lifestyle, but a few are competitive bodybuilders or powerlifters. I enjoy training a variety of styles to fit different clients’ goals!
What certifications or experience do you have?
I have a NASM Personal Training Certification that I received in 2020. I have also taken two CEU courses through NASM, including the Women’s Fitness Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Metabolic Makeover. I am currently enrolled in a Macro Nutrition Coaching Certification course as well. I am always looking to learn more to become a better, more well-rounded coach so I can best support my clients! I worked as a Personal Trainer in three different commercial gyms before deciding to coach on my own.
Is there a trial or consultation before signing up?
I offer one complimentary thirty-minute consultation phone call where you can ask questions and we can begin to establish a trusting coach/client relationship.
What if I don't have a gym membership?
I can easily write you a workout plan that is tailored to what you have available at home. Dumbbells, bands, and a workout bench are fairly inexpensive, and many exercises can be done without a membership to a commercial gym. Since my training programs are always customized, you will receive a unique plan that is suited to the equipment you have available.
Can you work around injuries or limitations?
Absolutely! I have worked with many athletes and lifestyle clients with various injuries or muscle imbalances. My coaching plans always include mobility exercises that are specifically tailored to any areas where you may have a limited range of motion or general tightness.
